December 2022: New Year's Resolutions Loading...
Every time the holiday season rolls around, our pants all fit a little tighter. First comes Halloween with loads of candy, then we have Thanksgiving with second and third helpings of delicious food, then comes heaps of treats at holiday parties, gatherings, and festivities — cue the hot cocoa, cookies, and candy canes!
With so many goodies, it’s likely that most of us will gain a few pounds over the holidays. After all, the new year is just around the corner, and you’re planning to drop the extra weight. But here’s a new idea: How about coming up with your 2023 health goals now and start easing into your routine ahead of time?
You have one month until the clock strikes midnight and the calendars all roll over to Jan. 1. By starting now, you can hit the new year lighter and fitter and start your routine at a sprint. You’ll have a whole month of progress under your belt as January starts!
