Driven to Help Others
Honoring Our Firefighters
Our Frisco and Sherman First Responders
At Snellings Law, we love our local fire departments. We have had the honor of representing numerous firefighters throughout our careers, and we often see their heroic efforts in responding to and helping our clients.
Our team recently had the honor of bringing lunch to our local Frisco and Sherman firefighters as a way of thanking them for their heroic efforts. We wanted to specifically honor firefighters as we move toward the 21st anniversary of September 11th.
Frisco Fire Department
The Frisco Fire Department was established in 1914 with Roy Northcutt serving as the first chief. There have been 9 Fire Chiefs since then, including our current Chief, Mark Piland.
The Frisco Fire Department is made up of hardworking men and women who are committed to protecting the community. They have a highly trained and dedicated group of professionals, who provide fire, medical and rescue services to residents, visitors and people who work in the city.
Sherman Fire Department
The Sam Houston Steam Fire Department was established in 1873 to provide fire protection to the citizens of Sherman, TX. The name was changed to the Sherman Fire Department in the early 1900s. Our current Sherman Fire Chief is Danny Jones.
The Sherman Fire Department proudly serves the citizens of Sherman, Texas. They provide fire, rescue and emergency medical services to the citizens and visitors of our city.
Recognizing Exceptional Commitment<
Both of these esteemed departments log many hours of training each year in addition to responding to emergency calls, fires, conducting inspections, and many other job duties. The physical and mental stress placed on each fireman throughout their 24-hour shift can be incredibly intense. It takes a special kind of person to succeed as a firefighter, and we are proud to support them!
We would like to thank all of the firefighters who keep us safe every day! Please join us in honoring them this September 11th.
